Old Route 66, The Mother
Road, is one of the prime interests for travelers in the know. If you
are not aware of it's importance to American historians, then you just
haven't reached that point in your life yet, that most of us move into,
in that time of life where things of the past interest us as much if not
more than things in the future. Route 66 has it's own following, almost
a cult following and I don't expect it to diminish much in the future as
a lot of lore and memorabilia has been preserved about The Mother
Road, Old U.S. Route 66. This sight is to help preserve that lore and
history. I am a Route66er, if your interest in Old Route 66 is more than
passing, you are a Route66er too! And if so, I welcome you and anything
you would like to contribute to this website! If you are just passing
by, you may someday find that you mind is carrying you back to The
Mother Road and then...you will be a Route66er too! |
